The reasons behind the blog

I want to capture moments in our life, past and present, so that in years to come, we can look back and reflect on the magically moments shared between family and friends.

I want my kids to be able to look through these memories and remember the good times, the laughter and the tears that were shared …. I want to be able to capture the unconditional love, the infectious laughter and zest for life that they bring into my world…..

Most of all I want to be able to one day look back and reflect on everything that I hold dear to me, as I sometimes tend to forget the little things that I am so blessed with.

This blog is a reflection of the soul, the heart, the mind and the people that make it possible.

I leave you with this quote that I found very apt for the start and end of my first blog 🙂

Reflect upon your present blessings — of which every man has many — not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.” ― Charles Dickens

A working mother who lives in Johannesburg. I thrive on coffee to keep me sane, music to soothe my soul, reading to pretend that I am clever, and most importantly my kids to know that I am loved.
